Application of the cohort analysis methods to examination of the higher school students' mobility in the course of education

The article considers the possibilities and perspectives of application of the cohort method for examination of the mobility of higher school students in the process of education. The work is based on low-activity data accumulated in the administrative information data sets of higher educational establishments. A special attention is paid to assessment of dropout from cohorts, causes of untimely termination of studies, socio-demographic aspects of dropouts from the students' cohorts.
