The article explores the importance of developing and correcting phonetic skills in students at the intermediate stage of English language learning. It emphasizes the central role of phonetic competence in achieving communicative proficiency. The pedagogical potential of mobile applications (ELSA Speak, Speechling, Sounds, Speakometer, Speaking Practice) in phonetics instruction is analyzed, highlighting individualization, interactivity, and instant feedback. Concrete examples and exercises are provided, along with an assessment of the advantages and limitations of using digital tools. The conclusion stresses the need for integrating mobile apps into traditional teaching methods to enhance phonetic training efficiency.
