Use of inorganic waste of thermal power station in structure of asphalt mixtures

Annually in heat-electric generation plants of Byelorussia in the raw sludge storage is formed about 50-60 tons of waste (a raw sludge of scavenging water). One of directions of complex salvaging of such waste is their using in highway engineering. On the basis of the researches of the content of inorganic waste and bitumen in composition of a road concrete mix is developed the mixing ratio which allows to raise physical-mechanical parameters of an asphaltic concrete (the module of a residual deformation at 50 ºС increases for 66 %; a ultimate tension at 0 ºС - on 12 %; compression strength at 50 ºС - on 16 %). Using of the inorganic waste formed during a water reclamation on thermal power station, in composition of a road concrete mix allows to improve an ecological situation in territory of heat-electric generation plants.
