Using of new 3-hydroxipiridine derivatives with the purpose of correction the metabolic disturbances at diabetes mellitis

The purpose of our research was studying the metabolic activity of new 3-hydroxipiridine derivatives - 3- HP fumarate and 3-HP nicotinate at alloxan diabetum with an exogenous hypercholesterinemia at rats. Investigated compounds have been synthesized on faculty of organic chemistry Mordovian State Univer-sity named after N.P. Ogaryov. As a result of the lead experiment at investigated compounds there have been revealed hypoglycemic and hypocholesterinemic effects.
