Use of LAIX Online Learning app in Improving English Language Speaking Skills of Secondary School Students

This paper examines the use of applications for online learning. It is revealed that the polycode texts used in them are insuffi ciently studied as a means of teaching a foreign language. The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of the specialized LAIX application on improving English pronunciation among Chinese secondary school students. As part of an experiment conducted with the participation of 50 schoolchildren, data on their pronunciation was collected and analyzed using LAIX for four weeks. The results of the study show that the use of this application contributes to a signifi cant improvement in the studied indicators. It is concluded that the application based on artifi cial intelligence technologies has great potential for improving students' oral speech.
