Usage of different isolation and pollination methods at seed growing of constant inbred sunflower lines

Sunflower seeds formation of inbred line VK 678 and its sterile analog was studied at controlled compulsory pollination and pollination by bees under isolators of different types. The results of that research are presented in this article. It showed that seeds formation and its quantity in sunflower head of reproducing constant sunflower line under canopy of group net isolator depended on planting date and didn 't depend on cytoplasm type (sterile or fertile) of reproducing lines. Pollination by bees allows to have high percentage of seeds formation, reducing labor coefficient of a process.
