The trend towards nostalgia has led to the formation of new marketing concepts, one of which is retro marketing, which refers consumers to vivid images of their past by creating new goods - simulacra of the past, realizing the satisfaction of spiritual needs. The article is devoted to the study of retro marketing in the video game industry. The concept of nostalgia and its influence on the life of an individual on the part of marketing communications is considered.
