This article examines the impact of social media and crowdfunding as progressive tools that promote the growth of local entrepreneurship and regional economies. In the era of postindustrialism, when traditional methods of financing and marketing are proving ineffective, the study of social media and crowdfunding is becoming particularly important. The paper examines the basic principles of these tools, highlights their strengths and weaknesses, and offers recommendations on the productive use of social media and crowdfunding to support local entrepreneurs.
