The article discusses the use of publicly available information from social networks, its thematic and geographical analysis in real time, as well as various statistical evaluation in order to determine the dynamics of tension and interest of the population of certain areas of life safety issues. The variants of the technical implementation of the proposed approach, its relevance, applicability, and the impact of the use of such tools on the level of social tension and prepare the population to act in emergency situations.
