Use of social networks and cloud services in the educational process of the institute of the system analysis and management of Dubna State University

The article is dedicated to the description of the urgent tasks of organizing and supporting the educational process of the Institute of the System Analysis and Management (Institute of SAM), and also the ways of social networks and cloud services using to solve them. Within the framework of the article, the structure of the organization of the students’ operational informing through the use of the social network VKontakte is described. The article deals with the issue of the integrated use of the functional features of the social network VKontakte which gives students the opportunity to quickly receive all the most relevant and necessary information about changes in the course of the educational process, events of the Institute of SAM and the university, important interrogations, etc. Also, to organize the work (especially during a pandemic and in full distance learning mode), Google Drive cloud services are used to collect, store and process data about the students, receive the feedback from the students and the teaching staff on a number of issues and automate document collection, applications, etc. (for example, the collection of assignments for the final qualifying work or the provision of the regulations for working with a personal account on the university website). With the help of the developed principles of organizing the distribution of access rights to the files and folders with documents, as well as the principles of organizing the structure of storage and exchange of data, operational communication and exchange of information was carried out between the teaching staff, the specialists in teaching and methodological work and the students (preparing reports, processing applications, collection of various data, preparation of orders (practices, graduation qualification works, elective disciplines, participation in contests, competitions and other aspects of the educational process). We believe that this experience of using social networks and cloud services can be applied to the organization of the work of other universities.
