In real time quantitative otsenka soderzhaniya wear products in oil is becoming more urgent in connection with the introduction of agro-industrial complex method of diagnostics and maintenance based on the actual state of the art. The change in the process of exploitation, physical and chemical properties of the motor oil and the accumulation of oil wear products to diagnose the technical condition of the main tractor unit - the engine and, at the same time, allows you to judge the degree of deterioration of the oil. Use to assess the content of metals in the method of spectral analysis of oil has significantly increased the speed of determining wear products with sufficient accuracy for engineering practice. This diagnostic method involves, along with spectral analysis of oils, laboratory testing of physical and chemical parameters of working oil. Any of the defined parameters of engine oils can serve as a diagnostic parameter for which no disassembly of the unit can estimate not only the repair of the object at the time of diagnosis, but also the possibility of further trouble-free to use it for a certain period. However, the diagnostic accuracy of the forecast parameters of wear depends on the accuracy of these parameters. Given that the process of wear depends on many factors, most of which occur randomly during operation, parameter changes can be assessed based on statistical method. At the same time, the allocation of a motor unit into the category of serviceability or failure depends on the accuracy of "reference standard" by which we mean the ultimate content of wear products in oil. The purpose of this article is to define the content limit of oil wear products on the basis of statistical methods.
