The article gives a brief overview of the main typologies that have emerged since the formation of psychology as a science, examines the specifics of their application in the field of pedagogy and suggests criteria for their classification. Typologies created in the field of the intersection of psychology and pedagogy, or within the framework of pedagogical science, are considered, their analysis is carried out.
