The prophetic dreams using as a fiction features

The article deals with the ‘problem of dreams’ in fiction and describes its place and functions as fiction features. The main emphasis, by comparing examples from ancient Common Turkic literature and Kyrgyz epic poetry, we place on the fact that ‘prophetic dreams’ always underlie the turning stages of events in works. Thus, it can be noted with confidence that such concepts as ‘prophetic dreams’, ‘the other world’ and ‘the prophet Khidr’, complementing each other, constitute a unity.
