The use of the relationship “criminal and victim” in the investigation of intentional destruction and damage to property

The article deals with the use of the relationship "criminal and victim" in the investigation of intentional destruction and damage to property, as a component of the criminalistics characteristics of crimes under Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The component analysis of the forensic characteristics of intentional destruction or damage to property allowed us to conclude that the victim of a crime under has various correlations and dependencies with all other elements of such characteristics. At the same time, it should be noted that the main link is "the criminal and the victim" in this category of criminal cases.
