Analysis of multydipole heart model parameters estimation algorythms

One of the modern methods for heart diagnostics is based on the analysis of its electrical activity. This would impose solving the inverse problem of electrocardiography with the data registered on the surface of the body. The authors use multi-dipole model of heart electrical activity. To obtain the resulting dipole electrical components it is proposed to solve the combined equations that describe a heart electrical generator. At that, different solution control criteria are used. The authors conduct the examination of heart multi-dipole model parameters obtaining algorithms in the process of heart electrical activity simulation. The results let the authors draw a conclusion that the correct decision on the solution control criteria plays a significant role in obtaining adequate heart electrical activity modeling results. The minimization of root-mean-square error demonstrated the best results among all the methods reviewed.
