The issue of intrapersonal conflicts represents a relevant area of research, as their impact on personal development and mental health manifests in numerous aspects of human life. Chronic anxiety, depressive disorders, decreased self-esteem, and reduced quality of life are often the outcomes of such conflicts. Understanding the long-term consequences of intrapersonal conflicts contributes to identifying the complex mechanisms of their influence and the conditions that facilitate effective resolution. The aim of this study is to analyze the prolonged effects of intrapersonal conflicts on personal and psychological aspects of an individual. Special attention is given to the role of factors such as social support, educational environment, and professional activity in mitigating their negative impact. To achieve the objectives, diverse research approaches were employed. Qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews and life history analysis, were combined with quantitative ones, such as surveys and psychometric tests. A longitudinal study allowed tracing the dynamics of changes in the mental state and personality characteristics of the participants. The study results confirmed that prolonged and intense intrapersonal conflicts significantly exacerbate anxiety and depression. However, the findings also revealed that strong social support, a high level of education, and professional fulfillment can compensate for the negative effects and stimulate personal growth. The importance of a conscious approach to overcoming such conflicts was emphasized through the utilization of external resources. The practical significance of the work lies in developing recommendations for professionals in the field of psychological counseling. Specifically, it highlights the need to strengthen social support, enhance mindfulness skills, and apply cognitive-behavioral therapy methods. From a theoretical perspective, the study enriches the understanding of the mechanisms of intrapersonal conflict impact and provides a foundation for designing effective strategies for their minimization. The obtained data open up prospects for further research into the influence of personal and cultural factors on the ability to overcome intrapersonal conflicts.
