Spiritual leadership and women's religion activities in the Muslim North Caucasus regions

The article is devoted to the analysis of the issue of spiritual leadership and women's religious activity in Russia and the North Caucasus, as well as to the description of the role of women's civil society structures in religious life. Based on the analysis of documents and research results in 2022, the author reveals the features of interaction between religious leaders and women's organizations in the context of achieving sustainable development, increasing women's activism, preventing religious radicalization in society and working on de-radicalization with a risk group under the influence of radical ideology. The author concludes that it is necessary to develop women's initiatives, maintain the practices of women's constructive activity, and strengthen the interaction of religious leaders, women's initiatives and authorities.
