Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the article reveals the influence of financial risks on the activities of business entities; clarified the concept of "financial risk", "risk environment", considered the economic nature of financial risk and investigated the main approaches to the classification of financial risks; methods for managing the financial risks of an enterprise are proposed.
