The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The research problem lies in the insufficient readiness of heads of preschool educational organizations (PEOs) to design Development Programs, which can negatively impact the quality of the educational process. The relevance of this topic is due to changes in educational policy that require leaders to be able to adapt to new standards and approaches. Readiness for design directly affects the level of children’s preparation for school, making this problem particularly important. The use of self-diagnostic methods allows leaders to identify the strengths and weaknesses of PEO activities, which contributes to more effective management and development of organizations. In a rapidly changing educational landscape, the professional development of leaders becomes necessary to ensure the quality of preschool education. The goal of research is to systematize scientific ideas about the structure and content of professional readiness of PEO leaders to develop development programs, to identify and analyze the level of professional readiness of leaders of preschool educational organizations to design a Development Program based on selfdiagnostic data. Methodology (Materials and Methods). Within the framework of the research of the readiness of heads of preschool educational organizations (PEOs) to design a Development Program based on self-diagnosis, both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. The main research materials were questionnaires and surveys developed to assess the level of professional training, competencies, and personal characteristics of leaders. Quantitative methods included a questionnaire survey, which was conducted among PEO leaders to collect data on their experience, knowledge, and skills in designing development programs. Document analysis methods were also used, including the study of existing PEO Development Programs and educational standards, which helped to identify current requirements and recommendations. As a result of applying these methods, a comprehensive profile of leaders’ readiness was compiled, which served as the basis for further recommendations to improve their qualifications and work efficiency. Results. During the study on the readiness of heads of preschool educational organizations (PEOs) to design a Development Program based on self-diagnosis, experimental results were obtained through a questionnaire survey of PEO leaders. Analysis of the data showed that most respondents experience difficulties in designing development programs, especially in aspects of strategic planning and effectiveness assessment. More than 60% of participants indicated a need for professional development in this area. The research also revealed a positive correlation between the level of leaders’ readiness and the quality of the educational process in the institutions. The scientific novelty lies in defining the concept of “readiness of heads of preschool educational organizations to design a Development Program based on self-diagnosis”. The theoretical significance lies in identifying and clarifying the structural components of the concept of “readiness of heads of preschool educational organizations to design a Development Program based on self-diagnosis”. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using the results to improve training programs for leaders, and the applicability of the developed recommendations in the practice of PEO management.
