Research of the ethnic characteristics of the participants in criminal proceedings within the framework of the formed systemic-activity paradigm of the criminalistics study of personality: statement of the problem

The article is devoted to the characterization of the system-activity paradigm of the forensic research of personality that has developed to date in forensic science. The genesis and private forensic theory-formation of personality is analyzed, its main features are identified, and trends of further development are indicated. The article makes the case for including a set of ethnic characteristics that determine the peculiarities of thinking and behavior of participants in criminal proceedings in the system of personal properties and qualities that have forensic significance. The author finds that the personality should be explored as a systemic object of knowledge in forensic science.
