Research of the competencies of the creative class for the development of the digital economy

The article explores the concept of the creative class and the characteristic features of its representatives. The state requirements for staffing the digital economy are considered (a person’s ability in a digital environment to use various digital means and achieve their goals; a person’s ability for self-development in conditions of uncertainty, and others). The competencies of representatives of the creative class necessary for the development of the digital economy in modern society have been identified: the desire for new knowledge; ability for personal development and increase of intellectual capital; creative activity; ability to develop new ideas to obtain economic results; mobility; ability to work at the intersection of different professions; ability to adapt to new conditions and others.
