The study was performed within the problem of human psychological security and developed by us on different samples of people. Research methods: "Forecast" questionnaire, R. Cattell’s "16PF questionnaire" (Form C). We identified the severity of nervous and mental stability in the groups of respondents. This assessment allowed us to forecast the impact of nervous and mental stability level on behavior of soldiers in military stressful situations. We found that the majority of tested were individuals with groups I and II of nervous and mental stability severity, we gave the forecast that they would show resistance to stress, extreme conditions of military service. The similarities and differences in personality characteristics and psychological state of servicemen were identified by R. Cattell’s techniques.
