Investigation of the mechanism of quality management of customs services: implementation problems and development prospects

This article examines the problematic issues of quality of providing customs services in the Russian Federation. An assessment of the current state of the place of the quality management system of customs services in the general management system of customs authorities was carried out. The functions of quality management of customs services for the operating units in the customs authorities are indicated. Ways are proposed in the course of implementation of which a consistent and fundamental change in the management system of the customs authorities will be made regarding the quality of customs services.
