The investigation of optical patterns formation mechanisms in wide-aperture lasers

Presented article is concerned with the research of optical patterns formation processes in the transverse section of the light wave, propagating in wide-aperture laser with frequency detuning. By using Maxwell-Bloch's model stability analysis for the spatially-homogeneous solutions was carried out. The comparison of this analysis' results with data, obtained through the numerical simulation of spatiotemporal dynamics, let to reveal the conventional lasing regimes for the different types of instabilities.
