It is known that nephrological pathology is characterized by a lesion of the glomerular apparatus located in the organ in the cortical and partially cerebral layer, and the urological inflammatory process is localized mainly in the renal pelvis pelvis system. Morphological studies of material obtained during an intravital biopsy confirm this opinion, however, the process of preparing a biopsy for microscopy may partially distort the true picture of organ damage, which requires additional and more objective methods of verification of the diagnosis. The aim of the study was to study the lipid metabolism of the kidneys in terms of their morphological and functional viability, using the combined positron-emission and computed tomography of the human body with the precursor of membrane phospholipids, 11C-choline.
