There are discussed the problems of the study of thinking of people of different age who have hearing abnormalities. Also the results of testing of the thinking diagnostic methods for hard-of-hearing children are presented. The analysis of hard-of-hearing children thinking development allowed establishing the available features - developmental lagging, the difficulties in making logical connections and relations, the handling of the abstract.
