Nucleic acids in the gonads of freshwater fish of Baikal region

The article reveals the study of the quantitative content of nucleic acids in freshwater fish of the Baikal region. The target of the research was to find a promising source of low molecular weight DNA. Biochemical characteristics, toxicity evaluation, which showed its harmlessness, were studied. The identification of DNA medicine was done by HPLC. It is the first time when the analgesic activity of the separated out DNA was identified in experimental research on mice.
