Scientific research of the features of heterodox economic theories compared to the mainstream

The modern field of economic theories is represented by a variety of school ideas that use different approaches to understanding and analyzing economic consequences. This article provides a thorough comparison and analysis of two key approaches: orthodox and heterodox economic theories. This research analyzes the features of heterodox economics, its formation and application in the context of comparison with the dominant direction of economic science. The first section of the research provides a definition of the main trend, the second section is devoted to consideration of the concept of heterodoxy and a brief designation of the directions of heterodox economic theory. The third section analyzes the key differences between the above two approaches in economic theory. The article is intended to enrich the understanding of the diversity of approaches in economic theory and help to better assess their strengths and weaknesses. Analysis of the differences between mainstream and heterodox theories contributes to the formation of a deeper and more complex view of discussions in modern economic science and ways to solve the diverse challenges of the present time.
