Diuretics are widely used in medicine, both as primary and concomitant treatment. There are no scientific data on the effects of humic substances peloids on the excretory function of the kidneys. However, the possibility of their diuretic effect can’t be excluded. Therefore, it seems urgent to analyze the impact of peloids, produced from domestic natural sources, on the excretory function of the kidneys. The aim of the present study was to analyze the influence of the magnesium derivative of humic, fulvic, and humus acids on excretory function of the kidneys. The study of acute toxicity and diuretic activity of experimental means was performed on white outbred rats. To study the acute toxicity of experimental drugs were administered once intraperitoneally at a dose of 2,5 g/kg. For the analysis of the diuretic activity of these drugs were administered subcutaneously: humic derivative of magnesium in doses of 7,5 and 5 mg/kg, fulvic derivative of magnesium in a dose of 0,05 mg/kg and 0,1 mg/kg, humus derivative of magnesium at a dose of 0,1 mg/kg and 1 mg/kg on the background of the water load in the amount of 3% of body weight of animal 24 h of the experiment. It was found out that all studied funds belong to the IV class of toxicity and contribute significantly to the growth of diuresis.
