The article presents the study of changes in the parameters of the sealing edge of a pin-type nozzle sprayer when operating on diesel fuel with an additive, which includes tall oil and linseed oil. The results of research on the wear of the sealing interface when operating on diesel fuel with an additive are presented. The effect of the additive on changing the parameters of the closing edge of the sprayer needle is described. In this work, the task is to study the wear parameters of the nozzle sealing interface, which determine the possibility of solving issues related to increasing the wear resistance of a precision pair “locking device (needle) - nozzle body” by using mixed diesel fuel. Issues related to the influence of the percentage of the additive in diesel fuel on the rate of change in the growth of the edge width from the sprayer operating time are considered. The purpose of the present work is to determine the effect of the additive on the change in the parameters of the closing edge of the needle of the nozzle of a diesel engine injector. The scientific novelty is represented by the results of the research on changes in the parameters of the sealing interface of the nozzle atomizer when operating on diesel fuel with an additive. As a result of the experiments on the wear of the nozzles, a mathematical model that establishes the relationship between the change in the width of the sealing edge, the operating time of the nozzle mating and the increase in the content in diesel fuel was obtained. Also, a mathematical model that establishes a relationship between the distance from the top of the cone to the sealing edge with an increase in the content of the additive in diesel fuel and the operating time of the nozzle was obtained. The rational content of the additive in diesel fuel has been determined.
