Research on the potential of new materials in semiconductor technology for improving energy efficiency in electric drive systems

Бесплатный доступ

This article examines traditional semiconductor materials (SM) and the limitations of their use. It explores modern SM, such as silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN), along with their advantages over conventional materials. The impact of new materials on the energy efficiency characteristics of electric drive systems is analyzed. Examples of the successful implementation of modern SM in the technological processes of Russian and American companies are provided.
