Survey of food consumption by individuals of the region

The structure and nature of expenditure on food for the population of the Vologda region are investigated in the article. The dynamics of food consumption for 2000-2011 is analyzed. Dynamics indicators were calculated, the forecast of which was compiled on the basis of this analysis, for studying the food and energy value of food products consumed by the population of the Vologda region. A paired correlation-regression analysis was conducted to find the relationship between food consumption and various socio-economic phenomena and processes and express it in a specific functional relationship. Changes in the structure of consumer spending of the least well-off strata of the population in 2003 and 2010 are considered.
