The work is devoted to successive approximation method intended for the solution of mathematically an incorrect inverse problem for one-layer system with the transparent ultra-thin film. The earlier developed method is not only simplified, but also is considerably improved. First of all it concerns a sign on which optimum value of an absorption constant of a substrate is determined. The new variant of the method can be successfully used to study the superficial structure of different objects, including fluids.
