Research of problem issues systems of classification of goods TN VED EAEU on the example of the 84th and 85th commodity groups

Currently, one of the most controversial issues is the problem of the existing product nomenclature within the framework of the "New Digital Post-Control Technologies" when moving goods across the customs border of the EAEU. The article provides an analytical review of the problems of TN VED related to the classification of multifunctional devices. The purpose of this article is to identify the main problematic points in the current classification of TN VED on the example of the 84th and 85th commodity groups. In order to identify the existing problems in the classification of the 84th and 85th commodity groups, the authors relied on the analysis of the TN VED system and the study of the experience of declaring importers. The conducted research allows us to conclude that the five-year term for the revision of the harmonized system, set today, does not correspond to modern realities. The term for monitoring the TN VED system should be reduced while expanding the list of codes.
