Study of the problem of iodine deficiency among students

Iodine deficiency is an urgent and socially significant problem recognized not only in the Russian Federation, but also around the world. The Altai Territory is an endemic territory of iodine deficiency in terms of indicators in the soil, water and food products of local production [2]. The issue of providing the population with sufficient iodine intake is the most important and relevant in the field of public health protection, as well as ensuring the intellectual potential of future generations.
