The study of the problem of the level of poverty in Russia using econometric analysis

The article deals with the problem of poverty in Russia in modern conditions. The key causes of poverty development have been identified. The purpose of the article is to identify causal relationships that negatively affect the level and quality of life of the population. The analysis of the problem using mathematical and econometric methods is presented, the method of multiple regression is used to assess the significance of the influence of factor features on the effective feature. Conclusions about the coefficients of elasticity and correlation are presented. The subject of the study is the unemployment rate and the inflation rate, which to varying degrees affect the object of the study-the level of poverty. The negative consequences of the development of unemployment are revealed. The consequences of the development of poverty in Russia, which threaten the economic security of the country, are analyzed. The ways of solving this problem based on the development of competitiveness of the Russian economy are proposed. The negative consequences arising from the lack of normal, healthy competition are presented.
