Runway strength study in accordance with federal aviation regulations

The article is devoted to the study of the compliance of the strength characteristics of the airfield runway with the requirements of federal aviation regulations and the establishment of restrictions on aircraft flights. The strength characteristics of the flat structures of the airfield are determined by the ratio of the pavement classification number (PCN) to the aircraft classification number (ACN). ACN is a number expressing the relative impact of an aircraft on the artificial pavement for the established standard category of base strength. PCN is a number expressing the bearing capacity of the artificial pavement for use without restrictions.
