The article analyzes the existing methods for calculating and measuring the expansion angle of a gas fuel jet in an air stream in gas transport engines to create a homogeneous mixture. Theoretical and practical methods are considered. The necessity of considering the expansion angle for various methods of fuel supply is substantiated.
