Research of regional disproporations in the development of the digital economy of the Volga federal district

The article discusses the imbalances in the digitalization level of the regions of the Volga Federal District. The basis for the study is the Digital Russia Index data, regional programs and projects in the field of information technology development. It is concluded that with the development and implementation of regional projects, the goals and objectives of which are fully consistent with the goals and objectives of the national program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, regional imbalances can be substantially eliminated.
