The article presents the results of comparative analysis of runners’ competitive activity in the ultra-long distance in the condition of elevated temperatures. The authors attempted to estimate this component in the structure of preparedness of elite marathon runners, as a high level of tolerance to high temperatures from the point of competitiveness at various levels of competitions.
