The study of suicidological and addictological situation among students of Rostov-on-Don

The research is devoted to study the use of psychoactive substances, the prevalence of Internet addiction, as well as identifying suicidal risk in young people of Rostov region. As a result of the anonymous survey using projective methods the authors found a high prevalence of both chemical and non-chemical dependence; a group at high suicidal risk. It is confirmed that there is correlation between the results of methods that assess suicidal risk and susceptibility to addiction. We were unable to find the relation between the parameters of different types of methods used in suicidology; the study will be continued in this direction.
