The research of the antibiotic complex properties of strains 194 and K-205 Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis

The researches on allocation, division and studying of the antibiotic complex allocated from strains of 194 and K-205 Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis are conducted in this work. The solvents in various combinations and concentration are picked up. The antibiotic complex is separated into three major bioactive fractions. The top component of bacteriocin from a strain 194 is active against most Gram-positive organisms, including heat-resistant bacterium Bacillus coagulans 429, Gram-negative Escherichia coli 52 and the Fuzarium oxysporum and Candida guilliermondii 217. The obtained data are used at identification on the Berdy’s computer database. It is revealed that the similar substance isn''t found among earlier allocated ones. According to this data bacteriocin 194-B is new.
