Theoretical aspects study on the concept of “economic security”

The article outlines the importance and necessity of forming and implementing such a category as economic security in modern conditions. The last fifteen years of the world economy development as a crisis are analyzed, indicating the causes of crises. The historical milestones of the emergence and designation of the term “security” by both Russian and foreign researchers are given. Based on the analysis of various views on security, the author's original definition of this category was formulated. Among the above elements of national security, economic security, which is implemented in times of crisis and reflects the sustainability of the state's economic system, is particularly noteworthy. The authors build a system of national security with the allocation of individual elements, formulate conclusions about the three approaches to the consideration of state security. Authors define economic security from three points of view, point to the interrelation of economic and national security.
