The article describes a method for calculating temperature fields in a workpiece and an instrument, as well as residual stresses, their magnitude, sign and distribution in the surface layer of workpieces in end milling operations. The method is considered on the example of machining the structural titanium alloy VT6 under conditions of coolant supply, which was taken into account in work by computational hydrodynamics (CFD).
