This article presents the results of a study of the conditions for the bioconversion of keratin-containing raw materials formed as a secondary waste in the livestock industry, a living culture of Streptomyces fradiospiralis. This technology allows you to get cheap high-quality and nutritious food, which have a high energy value. It is established that the activity of enzymes increased by 2 times. The efficiency of using microbial biomass in broiler rations is confirmed by an increase in their live weight by 180 g, which is 10.3%. The use of biotechnological methods (the use of enzyme preparations or microbial fermentation) to obtain animal protein feed creates a waste-free, environmentally friendly and closed cycle of processing keratin wastes.
