Study of variation indicators of crime in the Russian Federation

The article based on official statistics, examines indicators of crime variation in the Russian Federation and its administrative-territorial units. Using methods of statistical theory, a comprehensive analysis of systemic-structural changes and statistical relationships of crime in the federal districts of the Russian Federation is conducted. The study of statistical indicators made it possible to identify important criminological characteristics of the processes under consideration and to determine trends in the development of crime and its structure.
