Rostov Research Institute of Oncology of Federal Agency on High Technologies, Rostov-na-Donu In order to provide a more thorough evaluation of the mechanisms of autohemochemotherapy (high-effective autobiochemotherapy method), some parameters of free-radical oxidation and endogenous intoxication as well as structural-functional parameters of lymphocyte and erythrocyte membranes were studied in plasma of 10 patients with stage I-III cervical cancer recurrence before and after incubation with cyclophosphane and cisplatin. Blood incubation with cyclophosphane and cisplatin was found to result in protein molecule fragmentation with accumulation of toxic products due to deterioration of binding ability of albumin caused by association of chemotherapy drugs with binding centers of albumin molecule. Blood incubation with cytostatic agents induces lymphocytic stimulation. Preferential binding of chemotherapy agents with erythrocyte membranes occurs obviously by means of building into lipid bi-layer. The initial integrity of blood red cell membranes in the studied patients may be of great importance for realization of clinical autohemochemotherapy effect.
