Study of the influence of nanosilica and superplasticizers on the properties of fiber-reinforced concrete

The article presents the results of studies on the dispersed reinforcement of Portland cement and fiber concrete with basalt fibers. To distribute the fiber over the volume of fiber-reinforced concrete and protect it from the negative influence of the alkaline environment of hardening Portland cement, polycarboxylate type superplasticizers and pyrogenic nanosilica were used. It is shown that the combined use of polycarboxylate type superplasticizers and nanosilica leads to a uniform distribution of basalt fiber and obtain stable physical and mechanical properties. The composition of the fine-grained fiber-reinforced concrete of class B20 was selected using basalt fiber, superplasticizer and pyrogenic nanosilicon. The physical, mechanical and performance properties of fiber-reinforced concrete were studied and analyzed. Scanning electron microscopy of the samples of fiber-reinforced concrete showed a change in the microstructure and the presence of concrete compared to the control non-additive composition.
