In the course of the research the mathematical and finite-element models of rollslab system were created. It allowed describe quite accurate processes that occur during the rolling and that could be found in science literature. Friction coefficient dependent normal/tangential stress diagrams were obtained. Displacement curve of upper and lower edges slabs points were derived as a result of non-symmetric task solving. There were determined and described special zones that metal passes through while rolling. It was established that even small difference in rolls angular velocities could become a reason of significant vertical deflection of the slab at the outlet of deformation zone. The difference could be caused by disagreement of drive mechanisms or by difference in rolls diameters. The findings could be used for optimization of the longitude rolling process in plain rolls.
