Study of the effect of hot-dip galvanizing technological parameters on the microstructure and thickness of coating on the fasteners

Бесплатный доступ

The temperature of the galvanizing and the holding time in the melt are the main technological parameters that affect on the thickness and the microstructure of the coating. The main requirement for the zinc coating on the threaded part of the fasteners is its minimum thickness. The research allowed us to determine the dependences between coating thickness on the brink, peaks and troughs of the thread and the melt temperature and holding time, and to develop recommendations for choosing the technological parameters for galvanizing this type of products.
